Acupuncture Together of Austin
Accompaniment
With Dr. Guillaume Vincent
Accompaniment offers relational and embodied support for greater integration, clarity, presence, and wholeness.
Accompaniment offers a different kind of one-on-one care for the experiences that shape how we live, relate, heal, and become. Through Life Accompaniment and Somatic Attunement, the work creates space for reflection, discernment, nervous system regulation, embodiment, and deeper integration.

A Different Kind of Care
What Is Accompaniment?
Accompaniment is the practice of walking alongside another person with attention, curiosity, honesty, and care. It creates space to listen more deeply to what is happening in your life and body, notice what may have been overlooked, and engage more fully with what is asking for attention.
The emphasis is not on performance or optimization. It is on integration: becoming more present to yourself, your relationships, your body, your values, and the life already unfolding within you.
Two Forms of Accompaniment
Which Kind of Support Fits You?
Embodied & Somatic
Somatic Attunement
A guided somatic practice supporting nervous system regulation, emotional resolution, embodiment, presence, and somatic integration. It can be especially supportive for stress, anxiety, sleep difficulties, Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS), mind-body pain, chronic tension, and experiences that are strongly felt in the body.
Relational & Contemplative
Life Accompaniment
A contemplative and relational practice for life transitions, grief, relationships, recurring patterns, discernment, vocation, leadership, spiritual questions, burnout, and the deeper work of living with greater freedom, integrity, and wholeness.
How Accompaniment Is Different
A Distinct Pathway of Care
Accompaniment is not acupuncture, massage therapy, or another form of physical treatment. It is its own pathway of care.
Life Accompaniment is not psychotherapy and is not conventional performance-focused coaching. Somatic Attunement is not psychotherapy and does not use acupuncture needles. Both may complement appropriate medical or mental health care when that care is needed.
What connects both forms of Accompaniment is a commitment to deep attention, relationship, presence, and the possibility of greater integration over time.
Choosing a Path
Not Sure Which One Fits?
Choose Somatic Attunement if what you are experiencing is strongly connected with the body, nervous system, emotional patterns, pain, tension, sleep, anxiety, or a desire for greater embodiment and somatic integration.
Choose Life Accompaniment if what is asking for attention is more connected with transition, relationships, grief, recurring patterns, vocation, discernment, leadership, meaning, or the way you are living your life.
Both services use a tiered rate, so cost reflects your circumstances, not a fixed price. See rates on our Pricing page →
