Dear Clinic Friends,
After being closed for 2 months, we are (cautiously) excited to announce that we will reopen the clinic on Monday, May 18.
We hope you will come in and resume your treatments. The closing of our clinic for several months was unexpected and we’d love to return to our normal level of providing treatments as soon as possible, while creating a clean, sanitized and relaxing environment for you and our staff.
Many of you purchased 4 for $100 packages that expired March 31, and you did not get a chance to use all of your credits before we closed. The expiration date for these has been extended to June 30, 2020.
We will be selling new 4 for $100 packages from May 18 to June 30. These will expire September 30, 2020. We’d like for you to use all existing credits before you buy a new one.
We ask you to understand that we cannot absolutely guarantee a 100% virus-free space, but with your help, we will do everything we can to ensure your health and safety while visiting the clinic.
We will reopen under the guidance set forth by the Federal Government for Phase 2 re-opening procedures with a few additional requirements. This includes the following provisions and safety measures:
CDC: We will follow CDC guidelines as much as possible.
– Masks or facial coverings are required to enter the clinic.
– Keep 6 feet between you and other patients if possible.
– Stay home if you are sick or have been sick within the last 14 days prior your visit.
– Stay home if you are a high-risk patient or you care for/live with a high risk person.
Entering the clinic: If you approach our lobby from the outside and see another person there, please wait outside until they leave the room (If the weather allows) or maintain 6 feet distance inside.
Payments: We prefer you use contactless pay if you have it. Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, and contactless payment cards are examples of these. If not, you will insert or swipe your credit card yourself.
Personal items: Leave your purses, phones, and other personal items in your car or at home. We want to minimize locker usage since they are a commonly touched surface.
Checking for fever: All patients will have body temperatures checked at the front desk prior to being allowed to enter the treatment room.
Scheduling: For a while, only 5 patients will be allowed in the treatment room at a time instead of the usual 9. Only every other chair will be occupied. There will be no one sitting next to you and you will be at least 6 feet away from others.
Sanitation: We will change the sheets and pillowcases after every person. We will wipe down commonly touched surfaces with disinfectant multiple times throughout the day. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance, in treatment space and bathrooms.
Air filter: We have a new air filter for the treatment room that removes viruses, bacteria, molds, and allergens from the air.
Blankets: Please bring your own blanket if the AC makes you cold. We do not have enough blankets to wash them after every use.
With these steps in place, we feel we can provide a safe environment for us all.
We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Sincerely, Ashley, Guillaume, Maxine, and Madelyn Acupuncture Together Staff
